Why we invested
Contract review is the most expensive, time-consuming work in any in-house legal team, yet for years the only solutions built for it were either clunky enterprise platforms or generic AI tools with no understanding of how lawyers actually work. Ivo is an AI-native contract review assistant that plugs directly into Word, checks documents against a team's own playbook, and flags issues the way a smart junior lawyer would, without replacing the judgment of the people using it. Min-Kyu Jung left Bell Gully, taught himself to code, relocated to San Francisco, and attracted Eric Yuan and Craft Ventures before the product had revenue, which tells you something about the quality of the founder.
