JunoFem

Clinically proven pelvic floor training device that reduces urinary incontinence symptoms by up to 80%. Combines a medical device, app-based biofeedback, and physiotherapist support.

Junofem transforms women's pelvic floor health through discreet, data-driven monitoring and strengthening. By combining advanced sensor technology with personalised coaching, the platform provides accurate, actionable insights in real time to improve outcomes for women at every life stage.

Why we invested

One in three women worldwide experience pelvic floor dysfunction, yet the available solutions are either invasive procedures or rigid consumer devices that cannot distinguish between abdominal contractions and true pelvic floor engagement, which means many women do the exercises and see no improvement. The Femfit is the world's first slimline, flexible pelvic floor trainer with eight pressure sensors along its full length, giving users and clinicians real-time, accurate feedback on technique for the first time. The science behind it comes out of the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, with over NZ$3M in research funding, clinical validation across NZ and Australia, and key opinion leaders ready to champion it globally. Dr. Jennifer Kruger and Dr. David Budgett are exactly the founders this category needs: world-class researchers who understand the commercial reality and are building toward a product that acquirers in medtech and consumer health have already shown they will pay for.
